we've been adoring the eames rocker for decades now, haven't we?

tito, on the other hand, hasn't been around quite that long.

she has a great fondness for this prized beauty nonetheless.

ummm but yeah... she only likes to sit underneath. 

she takes comfort in the confines of the eiffel base

and uses the rocker bar as a foot rest.

hello.

is it me you're looking for?

i bought the blanket in this photo
from the cottage cheese on etsy in march.

it's gorge. 

i put it in a treasury

and held out until it expired

to buy it.

{to keep the trej in tact}

risky move, eh?

at any rate,

in an attempt to keep a few select blankets

hair free*

it lives in the armoire when not in use.

tito just loves it too much.

{rest assured, she has PLENTY or gorgeous blankets}

nearly every morning when i open the armoire

she jumps in while i'm putting on my unders

and gets started on a bread bowl.

she proceeds to make herself comfortable

{very comfortable}

and stares at me from the depths.

her eyes say 

i love you for blankets.

her mind says

make me move...

and i'll scoot on your pillows.

*if you have cats you know this is not possible
even on the cleanest of days.
you can test your levels by dropping a piece of chomped gum
in the area in question
and judge the hair-freeness
by the number of hairs stuck in it.
it's science. 

{do not put it back in your mouth or give it to your dachshund.}

when tito was a teeny tiny baby
she liked to scarf herself around my neck
and on my heart
to sleep.
{and grow}

her whiskers were so close to my ear.
more tickly than you can ever imagine.
but the feeling of her purring
mixed with my heart beat
was nappy bliss to be sure.

so happy i found these baby pictures.



tito and her sister
jermaine
{aka mae-mae}
were rescued
from an abandoned house
in detroit.
they kind of rescued me
at that time too.
but that's another story.

one of tito's goals this year
is trimming the tum tum.
so proud of her

while i was on a neverending shoot last year,

the mister painted matryoshka dolls for me.

our two cats and two dogs.

all amazing.

tito is one of the best photo assistants in town. when setting up shots for my shop inventory, most of my energy is focussed on the lighting challenge(s).

so, i'm grateful to have her finesse in the styling department.

a little nudge to the left or right can really make a difference.

and tito knows this.

let's celebrate tuesdays with tito. she cute. she fluffy. and she sweet.

she has beautiful kitty lips. and you can get in real close and kiss her if you like

{i like}.

she will pat you with her big spofty paws and let you hold her hand

{like a date}.

she will hold yours too...

sometimes she does have ulterior motives. rest assured, she doesn't break the skin and all bunny kicks are sans nails {she is able to demonstrate an amazing amount of restraint}.
