amen

my family refers to the holidays as the "hollerdays."
coordinating a giant {italian} family can be stressful.
patience can be tested.
in reality
things are not always ho ho ho.
perhaps this will bring
hee hee hee.

hungry eyes

i had a lovely birthday dinner at inyo with my squeeze.
the presentation, as always, was beautiful.
and the sushi, delicious.
i thought sushi never looked so good.
then i saw this watercolor from miss capricho
{the name is a nod to a pair of treasured vintage 60's bridal shoes}.
so fresh in its own.

many more a treasure can be found at misscapricho.

robots keep you cool.

14 feet tall...

22 feet tall
this is why i love the internet.
michael salter makes ridiculously kick-ass robots out of styrofoam.
massive, intricate emotive robots.

i want one large enough to sit on my garage.
then birds and squirrels can make nests in him.
